Boiler service and breakdown plans in Edinburgh

A fixed-price annual plan from our partner installers: your boiler serviced every year, priority callback when something goes wrong, and repair rates agreed in advance so a breakdown never comes with a surprise bill. One monthly price, everything in writing, no hidden extras.

What the plan includes

The plan is a straightforward service agreement with the partner installer who looks after your boiler. You pay a fixed monthly amount and in return your annual service is scheduled automatically, your repair labour rates are agreed in advance, and you jump the callback queue when the boiler breaks down.

Because the rates are agreed up front, a breakdown in January costs what the price list said it would in June. Parts are charged at the agreed allowance with the quote confirmed in writing before any work starts — the same Fixed Price, No Hidden Extras promise as every other job we arrange.

Key points

Who the plan suits

Landlords with several Edinburgh flats get the most obvious value: the annual service doubles as part of the safety routine, priority callback matters when a tenant has no heating, and agreed rates make costs predictable across a portfolio. Homeowners with a boiler past its warranty period get the same certainty — the plan turns an unpredictable £400 repair into a known monthly cost plus pre-agreed rates.

If your boiler is new and under a manufacturer warranty that requires annual servicing, the plan keeps that warranty valid automatically — the service is booked before the anniversary every year, with the paperwork filed for you.

How it works alongside repairs

When something breaks, you request a callback as normal and tell us you are on the plan. The diagnostic fee is waived for plan members, the repair is priced from your agreed rate card, and the work is guaranteed for 12 months like every other repair we arrange. If the boiler is beyond economic repair, you get the fixed replacement price (£2,295 for a like-for-like combi) with the plan discount applied.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a boiler cover contract?
It is a fixed-price service agreement with the partner installer who maintains your boiler: an annual service, priority callback and repair rates agreed in advance. You pay for maintenance and agreed-rate repairs — everything is listed in writing, and there is no claims process because repairs are simply charged at your agreed rates.
What happens if my boiler breaks down?
Request a callback and mention the plan — members go to the front of the same-day queue, the £95 diagnostic fee is waived, and the repair is priced from your agreed rate card with a written quote before work starts.
Can I cancel?
Yes — the plan is monthly with no long tie-in. If you cancel, any remaining scheduled service is simply not taken; there is no exit fee.
Does the plan cover an old boiler?
Boilers up to around 15 years old can usually join after an initial service confirms the boiler is in reasonable condition. Very old or obsolete models are better served by the fixed £2,295 replacement — we will tell you honestly which side of that line yours sits on.
